The ATC-2K is a video camera only, it is not possible to take still photos and cannot be used as a webcam.

There is some conflicting information on whether this item is water-proof or water-resistant, the manual states that it is water-resistant but it is actually waterproof and can be used in such activities as Jet-skiing, kayaking (but not something like scuba diving)
